Yesterday – May 31st – 10 village people got together and tidied the churchyard – the weeds were thigh high, and the blackberry bushes out of control.
With the aid of lawnmowers, strimmers, saws, and lots of elbow grease, it was pretty much tamed.
Another session is booked for the end of June, to finish the job.
